Guégan is the fastest in the opening stage of the Juniors Three Days (Video)

The Frenchman Maël Guégan wrote the first stage of the 35th SPIE-International Juniors Three Days on his name. The rider of the Bwin U19 Racing Team was the fastest of eight escapees in the final sprint after a race of 101.7 kilometers. The British rider Reece Wood (Spokes Racing Team) had to settle for second place. The Norwegian Marius Wold (APT SPIE Douterloigne) completed the podium. De Zeeuw Wesley Mol (Acrog Balen BC) finished a creditable seventh place and so he won the white jersey. His province-mate Jarno Mobach is the leader in the cobblestones standings.
