Belgians strike in the final stage of the Junior Three Days (Video)

The ultimate apotheosis followed during the final stage in the Flemish Ardennes with start and finish in Strijpen. In it, the Belgian Thor Verleysen (Avia-Rudyo Cycling Team) surprised friend and foe by choosing the attack 70 kilometers from the end. At first he still had company, but he continued the largest part of his journey solo.

In the final kilometers, teammate Rune Boden managed to cross from the background to Verleysen. The two Belgian teammates then shared the spoils. Verleysen won the final stage and Boden took the overall victory.
