classifications

The following classifications / prizes apply in the race:

• STAGE PRIZES
1st stage / ride in line : U.C.I. scale – class MJ 2.1 (stage)
2nd stage / Individual Time Trial : U.C.I. scale – class MJ 2.1 (1/2 stage)
3rd stage / ride in line : U.C.I. scale – class MJ 2.1 (1/2 stage)
4th stage / ride in line : U.C.I. scale – class MJ 2.1 (stage)

• GENERAL INDIVIDUAL CLASSIFICATION / YELLOW JERSEY SPIE
The General Individual Classification is composed by the timekeeper (s) recorded times of each rider in stages. It is then also taken into account bonuses and time penalties.

In case of equality of times in the General Individual Classification, the fractions of a second registered during the individual time trial shall be added back into the total time to decide the order. If the result is still tied the placings obtained in each stage shall be added and, as a last resort, the place obtained in the last stage ridden shall be taken into consideration.

• GENERAL INDIVIDUAL POINTS CLASSIFICATION / GREEN JERSEY EVS
The General individual Points Classification is made on the basis of the number of points that in each stage (including the trial) is awarded.

The points are awarded as follows:
1st place 20 points
2nd place 19 points
3rd place 18 points, etc.
20th place 1 point

In case of equality of points in the General Individual Points Classification the following criteria will be used to separate the riders:

1. The number of stage wins.
2. The position in the general individual classification by time.

• GENERAL INDIVIDUAL SPRINT CLASSIFICATION / RED JERSEY KRAKER TRAILERS
The General Individual Sprint Classification is made on the basis of the results of the Bonisprints, which are disputed in the rides in line (see route description)

The points are awarded as follows:
1st place 5 points
2nd place 3 points
3rd place 2 points
4th place 1 point

In case of equality of points in the General Individual Sprint Classification: the last ranking will decide.

• GENERAL INDIVIDUAL YOUNG RIDER CLASSIFICATION / WHITE JERSEY WESTERSCHELDETUNNEL
The General Individual Young Rider Class is composed by the timekeeper (s) recorded times of all stages of each who was born in 2007. Bonuses and time penalties will be included.

In case of equality of times in the General Individual Classification, the fractions of a second registered during the
individual time trial shall be added back into the total time to decide the order. If the result is still tied the placings
obtained in each stage shall be added and, as a last resort, the place obtained in the last stage ridden shall be taken
into consideration.

• GENERAL INDIVIDUAL COBBLESTONES CLASSIFICATION / GREY JERSEY PROVINCIE ZEELAND
The General Individual Cobblestones Classification is made on the basis of points that can be earned in the 1st, 3rd and 4th stage on the cobblestones, which are marked by signs (see route description)

The points are awarded as follows:
1st place 5 points
2nd place 3 points
3rd place 2 points
4th place 1 point

In case of equality of points in the General Individual Cobblestones Classification: the last ranking will decide.

• GENERAL INDIVIDUAL COMBINATION CLASSIFICATION / BLUE JERSEY PGS DEN DOELDER PALLETS
The General Individual Combination Classification is made on the basis of the following classifications: the General Individual Classification, the General Individual Points Classification and the General Individual Sprint Classification. The ratings of riders in these classifications are added. The rider with the lowest total is the leader in the General Individual Combination Classification.

In the case of equality is the order of the General Individual Classification decisive for the order. If there is no rider in the three classifications occurs, the same applied but for the General Individual Classification and the General Individual Sprint Classification.
In the case of equality is the order of the General Individual Classification again decisive for the order.

• GENERAL INDIVIDUAL MOUNTAIN CLASSIFICATION / RED POLKA DOT JERSEY RADIO M-FM OOST-VLAANDEREN
The General Individual Mountain Classification is a separate ranking only during the 4th stage. The “tops” are marked by signs (see route description)

The points are awarded as follows:
1st place 5 points
2nd place 3 points
3rd place 2 points
4th place 1 point

In case of equality of points in the General Individual Mountain Classification: the last ranking will decide.

• GENERAL TEAM CLASSIFICATION ZILT & ZOUT
The daily team classification will be determined by the sum of the three best times in the individual ranking of each team.
In case of a draw, the teams will be classified by the sum of the positions of the three best riders of that team in the stage classification.
If this results in a draw again, then the teams will be classified according to the position of the best rider of the team in the stage classification.
The General Team Classification will be calculated based on the sum of the results achieved by the teams in the daily team classifications of the stages.

In case of a draw, the following criteria will be used to separate the teams:

1 The number of first places in the daily team classifications;
2 The number of second places in the daily team classifications, etc..

If this results in a draw again, the teams will be classified according to the location of the best rider in the overall individual standings. Any team reduced to fewer than three riders participating in the contest will be excluded from the team classification.

• JERSEYS
To be eligible for the classifications mentioned above, you must finish all the four stages.
There are seven classifications, which are each equipped with their own leader’s jersey. The leader’s jerseys have a logo, which advertised the sponsor. Wearing the leader jerseys during the race, with the exception of the time trial, is COMPULSOR.

Sponsors
