The danish riders are outstanding on the second day.
AXEL the Danish Juniors were a class apart Saturday on the second day of International Juniorendriedaagse in Axel. So went the victory in the third stage Axel-Axel to Mathias westergaard. The rider of Team Blue Water Cycling was winning awarded by his team-and fellow countryman Mads Würtz-Schmidt. The duo came after a ride of 99.6 km sitting on the measurement. The German rider Leon Rohde earned at 38 seconds third place, while the sprint of the peloton to 1.09 minutes was won by Dane Elias Busk.

30 years J3D activities
This year we are proud to celibrate our 30th anniversary. A lot of extra activities will take place. Kai Reus will be our guest during the presentation for the press. A knowledge quiz will take place in he magnificent venue 'Zomerlust'. Music and Peter van Petegem will enhance the final race in Strijpen on sunday and a special race for ID-renners will take place on saturday.

J3D visits Omloop
Saturday februari 26th the yearly day for our sponsor took place. In 2 busses we took of for the start in Gent and three passes in Zegelsem. In extreme conditions we saw the riders on the cubbles of the Haaghoek and the steep Leberg. With a dutch victor (Sebastiaan Langeveld) our day was complete.

Axel-The 29th edition of The International Juniors Three Days of Axel will be held on the 21-22 and 23rd of May 2010

The winner takes two Jerseys
AXEL - Jasper Bovenhuis was not only the winner of the Juniors Three Days of Axel, he was also the best in the combined standings.
The green jersey for best sprinter was Michael Koch. Rick Ottema got the red jersey for the intermediate print. The Belgian Jasper Stuyven won the Youth rankings. The best cobblestones rider rider was the Kazakh Kuanysh Kylybajev and the mountain jersey for the German Alexander Krieger. Kylybajev was also the most militant rider.
